At Manufactors Invest, corporate social responsibility is a long-term commitment that shapes the way our companies operate and grow. As part of this commitment, our subsidiaries Molinel and Robur, both longstanding participants in the United Nations Global Compact, are currently finalising their annual Communication on Progress (COP), the report submitted each year by participating companies to demonstrate their progress in advancing sustainable business practices.
Far more than a reporting requirement, the COP is a key milestone in our CSR journey. It enables us to assess our progress, measure the impact of our initiatives and continuously strengthen our sustainability strategy.
The United Nations Global Compact: An International Framework for Responsible Business
Launched by the United Nations in 2000, the Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. Participating companies commit to aligning their strategies and operations with ten universally recognised principles covering human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption.
By joining this initiative several years ago, Molinel and Robur demonstrated their determination to develop their businesses responsibly while meeting the growing expectations of customers, employees, investors and financial partners.
Communication on Progress: Demonstrating Commitment and Driving Improvement
Every year, participating companies publish their Communication on Progress to present the concrete actions implemented, the results achieved and the priorities identified for continuous improvement.
For Molinel and Robur, this exercise goes well beyond regulatory reporting. It reflects our ambition to manage non-financial performance with the same level of discipline and commitment as financial performance. It also reinforces transparency towards all our stakeholders while highlighting the tangible impact of our CSR strategy.
A Strategic Opportunity to Step Back and Move Forward
Preparing the COP is also an opportunity to take a broader view of our CSR journey. It encourages cross-functional collaboration, consolidates key performance indicators and provides valuable perspective on the progress achieved against our sustainability roadmap.
This annual review helps us identify future priorities, strengthen our commitments and continue creating long-term economic, social and environmental value.
At Manufactors Invest, we believe that sustainable performance relies not only on taking action but also on demonstrating accountability through transparent reporting. The completion of the Communication on Progress by Molinel and Robur reflects our commitment to continuous improvement, responsible governance and long-term value creation for all our stakeholders.
